The town of Wayne is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Aging at Home Outreach Coordinator. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our senior citizens.
As an Aging at Home Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing programs that support our seniors in maintaining their independence and quality of life. Your primary focus will be connecting seniors with community resources, creating newsletters, and organizing social activities.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess excellent communication skills and have a genuine passion for working with older adults. A background in social work is preferred but not required. We are looking for someone empathetic, patient, and able to build trusting relationships with our senior residents.
In addition to these qualities, strong organizational skills are essential as you will be responsible for managing schedules, coordinating volunteers, and maintaining accurate records. Working independently and collaboratively with other community organizations is also crucial.
