From the Town Clerk's Desk: Ballot Access

The Town Clerk’s Office would like to kindly remind voters of the important ballot access information for the Tuesday, June 9, 2026 State Primary Election.
Ballot Choice Information
- Unenrolled voters may choose either a Democratic or Republican ballot.
- Voters enrolled in the Democratic Party must receive a Democratic ballot.
- Voters enrolled in the Republican Party must receive a Republican ballot.
- Green Independent and Libertarian Parties are not participating in the State Primary in Wayne’s district.
Please note:
- A voter must remain in a party for 3 months before withdrawing or changing enrollment to a new party.
- Voters who withdraw or change enrollment must do so at least 15 days before the election or will be ineligible to participate in the primary.
- Voters not eligible to participate in the primary may still vote on the municipal ballots
