Presentation: Travels Through the Great Plains w/Lloyd Irland

In July 2024, Lloyd Irland journeyed through the Great Plains, a landscape completely unlike our familiar Maine woods and waters. His route stretched from La Junta, Colorado to the Missouri Breaks, and on to the historic Mandan Villages in North Dakota. Much of the trip took him along remote dirt roads, by design, as he sought out solitude and open country. He was joined by two of his brothers for this memorable adventure. Lloyd, now in his ninth year as a selectboard member in Wayne, will share stories, photos, and reflections from this remarkable journey.
